Managing Picking Lists in WP Racks Plugin

The WP Racks plugin includes a Picking List feature that helps streamline the process of moving products within your warehouse or for dispatching them out of the warehouse. This documentation provides detailed instructions on how to create and manage picking lists.

Accessing the Picking List Feature #

To create and manage picking lists, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Go to the Warehouses
3. Click Manage
4. Click on the “Search” tab to locate products.
5. Add Products to Picking List: Select the products you want to add to the picking list using the plus icon or by checking multiple items and clicking “Add Selected to Picking List.”
6. Go to Movements > Current Picking List

Creating a Picking List #

Once you have added the desired products to the picking list, follow these steps to create and manage the list:

1. Access Current Picking List: After adding products, you will be directed to the Current Picking List page.
2. Select Movement Type: Choose the type of movement:
   • External: Movements out of the warehouse.
   • Internal: Movements internally within the warehouse.
3. Enter Details:
   • Reference Number: Enter the reference number associated with the picking list (e.g., SH20140).
   • Transporter: Specify the name of the transporter (e.g., Neuro).
4. Review and Adjust Product Details:
   • Bin: The bin location of the product.
   • Product Name: The name of the product (e.g., Wireless Charger).
   • Units: Enter the quantity of units to be picked.
   • Batch Number: The batch number of the product.
   • Bay: Select the bay where the product will be moved to or dispatched from.
   • Expiry Date: The expiry date of the product.
   • Actions: You can remove a product from the picking list by clicking the “X” icon.
5. Add Notes (Optional): Add any relevant notes regarding the picking list in the “Note” field.
6. Create Picking List: Click the “Create Picking List” button to finalize the picking list.

Completing the Picking List #

Once the picking list is created, you can:

• Generate Picking List: Create a picking list for internal/external movements to guide warehouse staff in placing the products in the correct locations.
• Confirm Picking: Mark the picking list as complete once the products have been picked and moved to the designated bays.
